Ludogorets defeated 2:1 the second division club Lokomotiv (Gorna Oryahovitsa) in a trial match. This was Olivier Verdon’s unofficial debut. There were two 40-minute half times.

Manu hit the woodwork in the 3^rd minute and Tekpetey almost scored moments later. Lokomotiv took the lead in the 7^th minute after Mirchev scored. Higinio and Yankov both missed a chance to score. Eventually, Ludogorets made the score even when Tekpetey outplayed Hristov and added a goal.

The tables were turned in the 52^nd minute when Ikoko passed to Petrov. The young player scored easily for 2:1.
