The Etar vs Ludogorets game ended with an even 1:1 score. The total lack of luck and a referee mistake determined the outcome. Cauly’s goal was canceled for no reason at all.
Marcelinho kicked the ball from the foul point in the 4th minute but the keeper kicked it back. Swierczok hit the woodwork five minutes later after Cauly passed him the ball. Wanderson’s direct free kick nearly resulted in a goal a couple of minutes later. Etar had another stroke of luck in the 22nd minute, as Swierczok sent the ball straight into the keeper’s arms. Cauly scored a goal ten minutes later but the referee Mitrev decided there was an offside situation. In reality, there was no offside at all. Swierczok tried to score again at the end of the first half but failed to do so.
The second half was shocking, as Stoyanov was able to outrun Dyakov and scored in the 48th minute. Seconds later, Cauly passed to Grigore who tried to score with his head but hit the woodwork. The ball then went under Marcelinho’s control who made the score even. Swierczok missed again in the 52nd minute. Ludogorets applied more pressure in the last minutes of the game but Wanderson and Marcelinho both missed a couple of goal situations.
