Ludogorets defeated 6:0 Botev (Vratsa) in Pavel Vrba’s official debut as the new coach. The champions are now seven points ahead of the second team overall in the Bulgarian championship – Levski.
The coach included the best players. Ikoko passed the ball to Dyakov in the 8th minute and the team captain scored easily. Vasev had the chance to even the score seconds later but he missed the gate.
Genov passed the ball to Uzunov in the 19th minute but Terziev diverted the ball and blocked the goal attempt. Marcelinho ended an attack in the 30th minute but he was not able to score. Wanderson passed the ball to Keseru seconds later but the Romanian was not able to score.
Ludogorets created a nice attack in the 37th minute and passed to Keseru who didn’t score again. Mitov saved a kick from Wanderson, but he was not able to save Marcelinho’s attempt and the score became 2:0 in the 43rd minute.
Jorginho was injured in the beginning of the second part and Cauly replaced him. Ndaiye fouled Wanderson in the 54th minute but the referee only gave the Botev players a yellow card which was a mistake.
Ludogorets added a third goal just a couple of minutes later when Keseru scored. Vasev almost scored immediately after that but Iliev saved the situation.
Cauly passed to Anicet in the 64th minute and the situation resulted in the fourth goal for Ludogorets.
The score became devastating after Swierczok scored ten minutes before the end. He scored the final foal as well after Moti sent a long pass. The Botev goalkeeper was able to save Cauly’s last goal attempt in the very last minute of the game.
