Ludogorets won a point in Moscow

28 November 2019

Ludogorets achieved an even 1:1 score against CSKA Moscow and is currently second in their group in UEFA Europa League. The team only needs to win another point in the game against Ferencvaros in Razgrad to qualify for the elimination phase. The champions were close to winning this game.

Anicet fouled Oblyakov in the beginning of the game and Vlasic kicked the ball from the penalty point but sent it above the gate. Cicinho passed to Marcelinho after that but the Ludogorets captain missed the gate. After a few action-packed minutes, Iliev’s gate remained free of goals.

Sigurdsson tried to pass to Chalov in the 11th minute but he did not receive it. Later, Marcelinho tried to create an attack but Diveev stopped him. Vlasic missed in the 22nd minute after Fernandez passed the ball to him.

Iliev kicked the ball back after Bistrovic tried to score. The best situation for Ludogorets happened in the 37th minute when Keseru kicked the ball with all his might but Akinfeev paid attention and sent the ball into a corner.

Ludogorets missed big time as soon as the second half began. Keseru received a pass and then sent the ball to Lukoki who failed to take the attack further and sent the ball near the gate.

The big moment for the Bulgarian champion came in the 66th minute when Keseru scored. After his hat trick in the first game, the Romanian scored in the Russian gate once again. Terziev passed to Wanderson who immediately found Keseru and sent him the ball. However, the Russian team made the score even nine minutes later when Chalov received a pass from Ahmetov and scored.

Both teams did not manage to score more goals and CSKA Moscow is now out of Europa League on theory.
