Ludogorets missed the chance to defeat Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) as a guest team in the 4th round of the efbet League. Biton missed a penalty kick and the referee missed a foul against Wanderson in the second half. The game ended with a 1:1 score and Ludogorets is still the overall leader.
The game was intense from the beginning. Lokomotiv had the chance to score in the 7th minute but Aralica’s attempt was saved. Swierczok immediately tried to score after that but he was not accurate enough. Cicinho was knocked down by Tomasevic a couple of minutes later and Biton performed the penalty kick, but the keeper showed his reflexes and saved. Lokomotiv almost took the lead in the 22nd minute but Aralica’s kick was off the target. Eze stopped Nedyalkov’s kick towards the center and almost scored an own goal. Malembana literally gave the ball to Swierczok after that and he passed to Wanderson, but Eze intervened. Eventually Jorginho got in control of the ball, but Eze blocked him as well.
Ten minutes after the second half began, Ludogorets insisted they had the right to a penalty kick. Wanderson was knocked down by Karageren in the penalty zone. The referee denied that right. Lokomotiv scored in the 60th minute when Ojbolt passed to Karageren who sent the ball just below the crossbar. Ludogorets made the score even four minutes after that. Biton passed to Wanderson who made it too difficult for the skilled keeper Pirgov. Ludogorets had the chance to score a winning goal in the 70th minute, but Keseru’s attractive kick was blocked. Grigore blocked what was about to be a goal in his team’s gate in the 78th minute.
