Ludogorets defeated Vereya with a 3:1

Ludogorets achieved a routine win over Vereya with a 3:1 score in the fifth round of First league. The team was led by the assistant of the resigned coach Georgi Dermendzhiev – Petko Petkov. The champions received 10 points for their win.

Claudiu Keseru opened the score in the 25th minute - he received the ball after a shot from Cicinho towards the center with his head. Keseru also scored the second goal five minutes later after he overplayed Domovchiyski. The visiting team from Stara Zagora managed to return a goal in the end of the first half, when Georgi Andonov scored for 2:1.

A beautiful goal by Abel Anicet in the 58th minute shaped the final 3:1 score.

Until the last minute of the game, the host had total domination and missed a few goal situations. Five minutes before the end, the new player from the champions’ team stepped on the field – Jacek Goralski. This was the official debut for the Polish player, who performed well and the spectators liked him.
