19 July 2017

Ludogorets performed excellent and won 4:1 against Zalgiris in the rematch, part of the second qualification round of the Champions League. In the first game a week ago “The Eagles” lost 1:2.

The game at “Ludogorets Arena” started off bad for the Bulgarian champ. The Lithuanian team scored in the 15th minute - Serj Nyuiadzi, who also scored a goal in the first game, was accurate again. “The Eagles” made the score even four minutes before the half time after Natanael scored with his right foot.

During the second half Ludogorets had a total supremacy and scored a whole three goals, which was more than enough for reaching the desired success. Wanderson scored in the 54th minute, and Claudiu Keseru finished off Ludogorets’ competitor with two goals in the 56th and the 74th minutes.
