Ludogorets has arrived in Lithuania

Ludogorets is already in the capital of Lithuania – Vilnius. On Tuesday (12th of July) at 9:00 PM “The Eagles” will play against the local team Zalgiris in a game of the second preliminary round of the Champions League. The team and their staff arrived in the biggest city of the Baltic country with a charter flight from Varna Airport early in the afternoon today. The players and the coaches were accommodated in the “Radisson Blu” hotel, located in the center of Vilnius.

The coach Georgi Dermendzhiev has appointed a training session on the stadium of Zalgiris at 8:30 PM tonight. Half an hour later the coach will participate in a press-conference.

Pouring rain during Ludogorets’ training night in Vilnius

Heavy rain poured over the LLF stadium in Vilnius during the official training session of Ludogorets on Tuesday night. The rain did not stop for a second and sections of the artificial field were covered in water. 

The weather forecast for Wednesday is good and no rain is expected at the time of the game with Zalgiris – 9:00 PM. 

Before the official training session of Ludogorets the coach Georgi Dermendzhiev participated in a press conference with the local journalists. “Our competitor is truly a worthy opponent with very clear goals about the tournament”, said Dermendzhiev. “We are aware of Zalgiris’ traits and we will use a serious approach for this game, which will not be an easy one for us”, added the champions’ coach.

Ludogorets is going to Lithuania on Tuesday at noon

Ludogorets will travel to Lithuania on Tuesday (11th of July) at noon. “The Eagles” will be the visiting team against Zalgiris in Vilnius. The game is part of the second preliminary round of the Champions League. Tomorrow the whole Ludogorets group will fly to the capital city of Lithuania with a charter flight from Varna Airport at 11:20 AM. The team is expected to arrive in our main sea town at 10:15 AM.

On Tuesday Ludogorets will have their official training session on the Vilnius stadium at 8:30 PM. Half an hour earlier the coach Georgi Dermendzhiev and one of the players will participate in a press conference.

The Bulgarian champion club will come back in Bulgaria on Thursday (13th of July). The charter flight will arrive in Varna around 10:00 AM.
