The inspired talents of Ludogorets U14 lifted the BFS Cup to the sound of "We Are the Champions", which echoed throughout Ivaylo Stadium in Veliko Tarnovo. That’s where the final clash between Ludogorets U14 and Botev (Plovdiv) took place—a match deservedly won by the young "Eagles" with a commanding 3:1 victory.
Gold medals were awarded to the champion players as well as the entire coaching staff, whose tireless work in supporting the children's development stands behind this success. The trophy presentation and medal ceremony took place in front of a group of Ludogorets youth supporters who had traveled to the historic capital to cheer on their teammates.
Throughout the match, Ludogorets U14 displayed relentless character, proving themselves to be the stronger side and fully earning their place at the top of the tournament. Though the tension of a final was occasionally felt, it did not affect the precise football displayed by the boys from Razgrad. They scored twice in the first half—once in the 20th minute through a long-range strike by Nikolay Todorov and again by Rumen Dzhepkov.
At the start of the second half, the young "Canaries" (Botev) capitalized on a penalty, scoring in the 53rd minute to make it 2:1. However, it remained their only goal of the match. Ludogorets U14 sealed the victory in the 70th minute, when Aleksandar Dimitrov found the net with a precise shot to make it 3:1.
"I'm proud of the boys. I congratulate them on the work they've done—not just today, but throughout the entire season. The two major achievements—the BFS Cup and the gold in the youth zonal championship—are well-deserved rewards for their hard work. I also want to thank all my colleagues and the specialists in the Academy," said Ludogorets U14's delighted coach, Trifon Panev.
