Ludogorets won the Bulgarian Super Cup for the seventh time after beating CSKA 1948 on penalties. This is the 22nd trophy for the Eagles and the third golden treble.

In regular time the score was 1:1 with Olivier Verdon opening for the Еagles and Piscevic equalizing for the team from Sofia in the second half.

In the penalty shootout Ludogorets scored 4 times, with Duah, Nedelev, von Witry and Verdon scoring. Only Jakub Piotrowski failed to score after Daniel Naumov saved his shot. For CSKA 1948, Karagaren and Daskalov missed, and Pedriño and Tsenov managed to score. This is the third consecutive Super Cup of Bulgaria for the twelve-time champions with CSKA (Sofia) and Levski being beat in the previous matches.
