Dynamo (Minsk) will be the first opponent of the Ludogorets talents in this year's edition of the Youth Champions League. This determined the draw for the most prestigious youth football competition today at the UEFA headquarters.

The match will be over two legs with Zahari Sirakov's boys away to the capital of Belarus on October 4. The second leg in Razgrad will be on October 25. If they eliminate Dynamo, the Eagles will face the winner of the pair Maribor - Mainz 05.

The Champions' young hopefuls earned the privilege of playing in the Youth Champions League after winning the BFS U18 Cup tournament outright. On their way to the trophy, the Eagles eliminated the strong teams of Levski (Sofia) and Septemvri (Sofia), and in the final they beat CSKA 1948 with 3:0.

The talents of Ludogorets are the Bulgarian representative with the most appearances in the Youth Champions League. As winners of the BFS Cup, the Eagles have played four times in the tournament and once again this happened due to the ranking of the representative team in the group stage of the strongest club competition. An interesting fact is that in 2021 the young Eagles had to meet Dynamo (Minsk) again at the start of the Youth Champions League. However, the tournament was not held then due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
