Ludogorets head coach Ante Simundza has commented on the Conference League draw, which pitted the eleven-time champions against Belgian giants Anderlecht.

"We are facing a very difficult opponent. Anderlecht is the most recognizable Belgian team, which has a very serious history and traditions. It has given a number of important players to the national team of its country over the years", was the first comment of Ante Simundza.

"It's hard for me to judge who was the hardest or the easiest of the possible opponents in the draw today. Any team that managed to get past their group in the Conference League certainly has a serious class. In the Belgian championship, the winter break is shorter but I can't say for sure if it would be an advantage for Anderlecht. We will train, play a number of games. A lot of things can change until mid February. This year all the teams will rest longer than the usual because of the World Cup in Qatar", added the head coach of the champions.
