The head coach of Ludogorets Valdas Dambrauskas shared his opinion on the Bulgarian Cup match played recently. Ludogorets defeated 2:1 Lokomotiv.

“We did not need 120 minutes because we allowed a goal with the last strike. We scored during the added time in the last match. We had to stay focused which I did not like. There is no easy competition but what is important is that we moved ahead”, said the coach.

“The players are eager for the match to be over in such moments which affects their focus. Grand teams should never do that. Still, I liked how we performed during the added time and we deserved to win”.

“It is not hard to make the right team composition but the players need time to understand what I want. It is not easy but we controlled the match. We lost ambition fifteen minutes after scoring the first goal and there was no rhythm. We tried to keep our advantage at the end of the game and we need to work on that”.

“I cannot say that I fully know each player and what formation works best. I like the 4-2-3-1 composition but It is not universal. I think we performed well last time”.

“I know that fans want to see results but this is not a fast process. I am not a magician. It will all happen soon enough and we will keep fighting together. I want us to create a team that will be a tough competitor for everyone”, the coach concluded.
