Ludogorets moved a step closer to winning their tenth title after defeating Beroe 4:1. The champions are now ahead with eight points in advantage in the overall rating. Manu became the hero of this match after scoring a couple of goals.
Ludogorets moved fast and the team took the lead in the third minute. Ikoko passed the ball to Tekpetey who then redirected it to Keseru. The Romanian scored by sending the ball above the gatekeeper Ganev. Keseru’s hand nearly caused an offside situation. Despodov almost scored four minutes later but he hit the woodwork. Makuta passed to Fal in the 16th minute but the situation did not result in a goal. Beroe created a great attack at the end of the first half. Lebon received the ball but decided to pass it to Makuta which was a mistake. Fal tried to score seconds later but missed the gate.
Beroe evened the score in the 51st minute after Santana fouled Lebon. Minchev scored with his left foot from the penalty point. Minutes later, Beroe almost turned the score around but Iliev kicked the ball back and Lebon tried to score. Cicinho prevented the goal with a split. Many and Yankov replaced Tekpetey and Anicet. Manu scored in the 62nd minute. Yankov tried to do the same in the 74th minute but the keeper saved. Despodov passed the ball to Manu in the 82nd minute and he added a third goal for Ludogorets. Despodov scored the final goal in this match with a beautiful kick.
