Ludogorets achieved a devastating 4:1 win over Cherno More in Varna. The champions wore cyclamen outfits for the first time in history and it brought them luck.
Cauly tried to score in the second minute but the gatekeeper Dyulgerov saved. Cicinho fought for the ball four minutes later and it went to Cauly after that. He passed it to Yankov who outplayed Cherno More’s star player Courier. Santana received the ball and scored with his head.
The game became more intense after that. Cicinho received a yellow card but he received three more warnings before the half time.
Courier scored his fourth goal this season in the 25th minute and made the score even after receiving the ball from Enrique. Stanchev lost the ball 15 minutes later and Nedyalkov stole it. He passed it to Keseru who scored in an elegant manner. Cauly almost scored in the next minutes but the gatekeeper did his job.
Many Cherno More fans lit up torches to support their team. Iliev Jr. tried to create an attack but failed to complete it. The son of Cherno More’s head coach had another chance but he stalled. Courier almost scored for the second time in the 66th minute but Renan saved. Jorginho received the ball in the 74th minute and scored easily. Higinio added a fourth goal in the 88th minute.
