Ludogorets qualified for the second Champions League qualification round after a hard 3:1 win against Buducnost in Podgorica. The Bulgarian champions will stand against Midtjylland at Huvepharma Arena stadium.

Oliveira hit the woodwork seconds after the match began. Ludogorets took the lead in the 12th minute after Higinio scored. He had no trouble scoring his first goal as part of Ludogorets. Six minutes later, Nedyalkov passed the ball to Cauly but he did not reach the target. Tchibota scored from the foul point in the 25th minute. The home team picked up the pace and added a goal in the 30th minute. Cukovic left no chance for Renan to save. He did not put in all his effort, too. Ivanovic almost scored minutes later but Ludogorets had a stroke of luck. Renan saved another goal attempt later when Bojkovic tried to score.

Ludogorets kept things in front of Renan’s gate safe. Dominik Yankov debuted in a European tournament – he entered the pitch in the 65th minute. Cauly scored the final goal in the added time with some help from Jorginho.
