The coach of Ludogorets Pavel Vrba spoke at a press conference about the upcoming match against Levski on Friday. This will be the first efbet League game after the 3-month pause. The Czech specialist is feeling optimistic about the game.
‘The current situation regarding Levski is their own problem. We focus on our plan. Every point won will move us another step closer to winning the title. I am not sure how the situation regarding our competitor will influence the match. I can only speak about our current status. The players are eager to play and I hope we perform great. Nobody in Europe has faced such a situation before. We cannot determine how the championship will develop. We have prepared accordingly and this will become clear once the games begin. We will give our best to stay in top shape until the season ends’, said Vrba.
The coach mentioned the previous match between the two teams. Levski won that game after the series of penalty kicks in the end, despite Ludogorets’ great performance during all 120 minutes.
‘You know that the score is the most important thing after each game. Levski won after the penalty kicks and continued ahead in the Bulgarian Cup tournament. We need to show that we are the better team and we can get even for the loss in the previous game’, Vrba added.
The coach commented on the effect of the coronavirus outbreak over the football world.
‘Nobody has experienced this situation before. The long pause disrupted all teams’ schedules. We have enough players to use in the different upcoming games, so we will be good until the season ends. The teams with 14 or 15 players in total will have more difficulties due to a high number of games to be played in a short period of time. Some players in Germany faced many injuries after the first round, which could be a problem here, too’.
