‘Ludogorets will play against Zurich for the honor’, said the champions’s coach Antoni Zdravkov prior to the game against the Swiss team. ‘We are prepared for the game on an emotional level and we are motivated to show the best we can and to win’, the coach added.

Zdravkov admitted that the injuries some of the players suffer from are making it hard for him. ‘Unfortunately not all the players are available. There are still 36 hours before he game starts and I hope that the situation will get better’.

The coach thinks that the team should be sorry about dropping off Europa League. ‘We had a lot of chances to win in the games so far. Our points overall are not much but our performance is on a good level. We had no luck and that was in our way to win more points’.

‘We have a positive attitude and I support the coach when he said this game will be about honor. We will try to defend our name’, the defender Anton Nedyalkov added. ‘The Europa League games will be missed. We got used to playing two high-level games each week and that kept our level high. We will face harder times after the winter break. Nothing can compare to the European tournaments’, the defender added.
