Ludogorets easily took the win over Pirin and once again is the group leader with a 12-point advance ahead of Levski (Sofia).

The game was preceded by the sounds of the Bulgarian national anthem, played in honor of 3rd of March – the day of the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule. The TV cameras clearly showed that Marcelinho knew all the anthem words and was singing along. The champions’ coach Georgi Dermendzhiev was counting on all the best.

The goals for the champions’ team were scored by Jonathan Cafu and Claudiu Keseru, who scored twice.

Before the game started, a symbolical first dig was made on the site of the new grandstand sector B, which should be completed this summer.
