A representative of the European Club Association, with PFC Ludogorets being ECA member club, arrived in Razgrad. The Swiss Olivier Yaros visited Bulgaria following an invitation of Mr. Aleksandrov, President of the four-time champions. Mr. Yaros visited the “Eagles’ nest” training base and Ludogorets Arena on Tuesday. In the presence of the President Aleksandrov, the representative of the European Club Association met the head of departments at PFC Ludogorets and the coach Georgi Dermendzhiev. Mr. Yaros’ main objective of visit was to be introduced to the implemented ISO 9001:2008 quality management system regarding all club activities.
“I am pleased with the fact that Bulgaria has a full-fledged member in the European Club Association representing the country on a European level” Yaros commented. “Ludogorets has set a good example how a team with a view of its outstanding club performance and success can be invited to become a full member of the European Club Association along with team such as Bayer (Munich), Real (Madrid) and others.”
As it is known PFC Ludogorets is the first Bulgarian football club to pass the audit standards and receive a Quality Management System Certificate of Compliance meeting ISO 9001:2008 requirements.
In April 2015, the President of the club Mr. Aleksandar Aleksandrov and the Managing Director Mr. Angel Petrichev attended the 14th European Club Association general assembly in Stockholm. At the summit some topics related to changes in the organization and financing of European football were discussed. PFC Ludogorets as ECA Member Club from the third subdivision took an active part in the discussions debating issues regarding planned changes in European football management and various club-related management topics.
