Ludogorets' women’s team suffered a defeat against the Romanian champions in their first summer friendly game

The Ludogorets women’s team kicked off their series of summer friendlies with a defeat. The “Eaglets” lost 0-2 to the Romanian champions Farul Constanța. The friendly match was played at the “Eagles’ Nest” complex.

The Ludogorets ladies put up resistance against opponents whose professional quality had taken them to the second stage of the Champions League. The match took place in the middle of the women’s team’s championship preparations.

“This friendly was useful for us to check our progress. We tried to counter our opponents, saw our mistakes, and will work on improving our physical and tactical skills,” summarized Ludogorets head coach Elena Peeva.

In their next friendly, the Ludogorets women’s team will visit Rapid in Bucharest. The match is scheduled for next Sunday, August 17.
