The Ludogorets youth teams, aged under 12 and under 13, performed at a high level during the three-day international football tournament "Northern Star," held from Friday to Sunday in Ruse. The young “Eagles” collected a series of victories in matches against strong opponents from Bulgaria and Romania. At the end of the intense schedule, in which the children played two matches each day, both Ludogorets teams finished in fourth place.

The Ludogorets U12 players became champions of their group. They played against Botev (Vratsa) and the Romanian teams Rapid and FCSB. The “Eagles” youth secured victories over Botev and Rapid with scores of 5:0 and 3:1 respectively, while their match against FCSB ended in a 2:2 draw. In the semifinal, Ludogorets faced CSKA (Sofia) and lost 1:4. In the match for fourth and fifth place, they faced FCSB once again. After a 1:1 draw in regular time, the final ranking was decided by a penalty shootout, which ended 4:5 in favor of FCSB, placing Ludogorets U12 in fourth place in their age group.

The older Ludogorets youth team, U13, also finished in fourth place. This was their first tournament appearance. They faced the same group opponents—Botev (Vratsa), Rapid, and FCSB. In their group matches, Ludogorets U13 recorded two wins and one loss. They first defeated Botev (Vratsa) 4:1, with goals from Georgi Nikov, Antony Chakarov, Arda, and Daniel Tsakov. They achieved the same scoreline against Rapid Bucharest, with Ivan Putsov scoring a hat trick and Georgi Nikov also finding the net. The team lost 1:3 to FCSB, with the only goal scored by Ivan Putsov from a free kick. In the semifinal, Ludogorets U13 faced Levski (Sofia) and lost 1:2, with the only goal coming from Momchil Kolev. In the final match for third and fourth place, the young “Eagles” once again played against FCSB and lost by the same score, 1:3.

Ludogorets coaches Svetlin Ivanov and Emil Georgiev described the "Northern Star" tournament as beneficial for the development of their players.
