Nearly 100 children from different parts of the country appeared at the casting announced by PFC Ludogorets, in search of young talents. With each subsequent year, the interest in the Children's and Youth Academy of Ludogorets increases, and this was proven by the numerous young footballers born in 2012 and 2013, who filled the Eagles' Nest training complex in Razgrad in search of their football development.
Their sporting merits were checked through entrance exams, which were carried out in front of coaches. The physical tests test the speed, coordination and strength of the candidates to pull on the green jersey. In various forms of play, the boys had the opportunity to demonstrate what they can do with a ball at their feet and impress the Academy coaches. Their presentation was filmed and the video recordings will be used in the selection of those who wish to become part of the "nest" of the Eagles. Successful applicants will be notified in person by the end of June.
After extensive analysis, coaches and scouts decide which guys will wear the green jersey and which should undergo secondary casting. In this way, misjudgment is minimized, and all boys have the best chance to enter the Ludogorets ranks. Once part of the family of the 13-time Champion, it provides the perfect conditions for the development of young talents.
"Thanks to the guys who came to the casting. In the future, some of them will continue, but I urge the rest to continue to develop inspired in the field of their favorite football", Radoslav Komitov, the director of the Children's and Youth Academy of Ludogorets, addressed after the end of the casting.
