All football matches in the past three weeks have been cancelled. Today, we took an interview from the gatekeeper Plamen Iliev who answered a few questions for the club website.

- How do you feel after three weeks with no football?
- I am tired of it, as it is the longest rest I have seen since I entered professional football. This is the situation and we need to accept it.

- Do you miss the matches?
- Of course. I miss the adrenaline like all other professional athletes. We have been training hard for years and this situation is new to us.

- How do you spend your days?
- We follow everything the authorities have advised us to. I do not go outside. My wife goes to the store and that is it, but we miss the social contacts.

- What will be Ludogorets’ shape after the championship continues?
- We will have time to get in shape. I hope that we will catch up fast. My teammates are also having a hard time but they are all professionals and will do their best to be in top shape.

- What is your evaluation of Ludogorets’ performance so far?
- We achieved our goals in the Europa League and we are the overall leader in the championship. It was painful to drop out of the Bulgarian Cup. We played good against Levski but we had no luck with the penalty kicks.

- Was Ludogorets capable of achieving more against Inter?
- I have always tried to keep it real and I admit we stood against Inter in their best shape. We did the best we were capable of and we will have the chance to shine against such a grand team.

- The match against Hungary was postponed for September. How do you feel about that?
- It was postponed because of the situation. Everyone hopes for this pandemic to end soon. Hopefully, the game will be played in September and we will all be healthy and able to qualify Bulgaria.
