Ludogorets made a key move toward the Bulgarian Cup final by securing a 1:0 away victory over Botev (Vratsa) in the first leg of their semifinal clash. The only goal of the match came in the 66th minute, when substitute Kwadwo Duah calmly finished after a perfect cross from Anton Nedyalkov and a precise assist by Emerson Rodriguez.

In the second half, Emerson Rodriguez scored a second goal, but it was disallowed due to an offside, adding another moment of drama to the match.

The "Eagles" dominated throughout the game and created several clear chances, with Todor Nedelev and Aguibou Camara coming close to opening the score in the first half, but they couldn't get past the home side’s goalkeeper.

The second leg is scheduled for April 23 in Razgrad, where Ludogorets will aim to secure their advantage and book a place in the final.
