The mighty Ludogorets qualified for the UEFA Europa League 1/16 finals

The Bulgarian football champions Ludogorets performed great in the last game of the H group against Ferencvaros which ended with a 1:1 score. The team won a total of eight points and qualified for the eliminations phase in spring 2020. This will be the fourth time the club enters this phase which is a record achievement for an Eastern European team. Victoria Pilsen are second in that chart with three qualifications.

The game welcomed 7,000 spectators and was full of thrilling moments. Both teams played good and there were many goal situations. Lukoki scored in the 24^th minutes after Marcelinho passed the ball to him. The Brazilian had the chance to score himself in the 90^th minute but a defender intervened and stopped the ball. Ferencvaros made the score even in the last seconds of the added time when Signevic scored with his head.

Ludogorets showed high class and had a total control in every second of the fame. The Hungarians had a few good chances to score but the gatekeeper Iliev did what he does best. Fripong hit the woodwork once in the first half.

The next team that will stand against Ludogorets in 1/16 finals will become clear on Monday. It will be one of the following teams: Seville, Malmo, Basel, Lax Linz, Celtic, Arsenal, Porto, Espanyol, Gent, Basaksehir, Braga, Manchester United, Red Bull Salzburg, Inter, Benfica and Ajax.
