Ludogorets talents played strong in the national shirt and gave their best for Bulgaria U15's successful performance at the UEFA Development Tournament in Cyprus. Champions Academy graduates Alexander Panayotov, Nikolay Popov, Viktor Ivanov and Yastiyan Georgiev once again proved that the club works professionally and at a high level with young hopefuls.

In the last match of the competition, the Lions, with four Eagles in the composition, broke the ambitions of the hosts with 3:2. Nikolay Popov opened the scoring with a shot on the diagonal in the middle of the first half. By the break, Cyprus equalized, but at the beginning of the second half Yastiyan Georgiev sent the ball into the net for 2:1. The goal was scored after an assist by Nikolay Popov. The central defender of Razgrad, Viktor Ivanov, made a serious contribution to the success of Bulgaria, who not only wore the tricolor with the captain's armband, but was also a real leader on the field. Goalkeeper Aleksandar Panayotov also performed at a level, who entered this match from the bench.

In the remaining two matches of the competition, the national team defeated Armenia 1:0 and San Marino 8:0, and against these opponents the graduates of the Ludogorets Academy played strongly for Bulgaria. Nikolay Popov also scored one of the goals against San Marino.
