Nearly 90 children from all over Bulgaria appeared at the casting for young talents announced by PFC Ludogorets. The main part of the candidates were from the 2011 recruitment, but there were also those born in 2012. After a detailed analysis of the performances of each of the boys, the most talented will be selected to become part of the club's Academy.
Candidates demonstrated speed, strength and coordination of movements, and these qualities were subjected to physical tests. The talents also showed what they can do with the ball at their feet in different game forms. The tests gave the most prepared a chance to prove that they have the necessary skills and qualities to become part of the school of the most successful club in Bulgarian football in recent years.
The boys' performances were closely monitored by the Academy's youth coaches. The demonstration was also videotaped, and the footage will also be used to screen candidates. All approved will be notified personally by the end of June.
"Thanks to everyone who came to our casting. Of course, only a part of them will be approved and attracted. I wish the others to continue to believe and work on their development, because work is always rewarded. The most important thing is that they continue to play football and love it, because it is the greatest sport," said Radoslav Komitov, the director of the children's and youth school of the Champions, after the end of the casting.
