Ludogorets realizes a new incoming transfer. The champions have signed Brazilian winger Erik Marcus on loan from Vasco Da Gama. On Monday, the two sides finalized the negotiations on the deal, and in the meantime, Markus arrived in Bulgaria. Today, Eric successfully passed the medical examinations and fitness tests, and from Tuesday the winger will start training with his new team in Razgrad.
The 20-year-old football player, who is considered one of the biggest talents in the giants from Rio De Janeiro, will play on loan in Ludogorets until the summer of 2025. There is an option in the contract between the two clubs to buy Erik Markus from the 13-time champions.
The winger is a Vasco Da Gama youth player, having played in all Academy formations. Markus has now made 36 appearances for the first team, scoring two goals.
"I am happy that I am coming to a team like Ludogorets. It was my dream to play in Europe and here it is becoming a reality," commented Markus.
