Ludogorets will enter the season after the long break for national teams following two wins in friendlies. The "Eagles" crushed Cherno More 5:0 in Igor Jovicevic's second, albeit unofficial, match after his return. Erick Marcus scored a hattrick, while Rwan Cruz and Ivaylo Chochev each added a goal.
Ludogorets started the match very strongly and took the lead in the 17th minute. Then Erick Markus received an excellent pass and with his left foot left no chance for Cherno More's goalkeeper Damyan Hristov. In the 29th minute, Ludogorets made it 2:0. Petar Stanic received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, immediately saw Rwan, who easily scored again past Damyan Hristov. By the end of the first half, it was Erick Marcus' time, who with two quick goals completely killed the intrigue in the match, making it 4:0.
Cherno More could have pulled one back, but Celso Sidney's shot hit the post. The final result was set in the 81st minute. Then Asen Donchev from Cherno More made a huge mistake, Ivaylo Chochev, who has recovered from injury, took advantage of it and without pressure made it 5:0. At the end of the match, Ertan Tombak received a second yellow card. However, the Varna team did not remain with one man fewer, and instead of the defender, the young Evgeniy Chenkov came onto the field.
