Ludogorets thrashed Arda upon Jovicevic's return

Ludogorets recorded a crushing victory over Arda Kardzhali in the repeat debut of Igor Jovicevic at the helm of the "Eagles." In the last match of the 11th round of the efbet League, the "Eagles" prevailed 5:0 at home, with goals for the hosts scored by Caio Vidal, Rwan Cruz, Ivan Zhelizko, and Bernard Tekpetey, who netted twice.

Already in the first half, the visitors were left with one man less on the field after forward Georgi Nikolov was sent off with a straight red card for an off-the-ball strike against Hossam Abdelmagid.

The first real goal-scoring opportunity in the match came after twelve minutes of play, when the visitors were very close to opening the score. Stanislav Ivanov received the ball in the penalty area, but could not shoot as he was pressed by a home defender. However, the striker managed to lay the ball off to Velkovski on the edge of the box, and the defender fired a powerful shot. Bonmann, however, reacted very well and punched it out for a corner.

The score in the match was opened in the 18th minute after a very good attack by the "Eagles." Rwan Cruz received the ball in Arda's half and with a very precise pass through the middle managed to set up Caio Vidal. He advanced between two guest defenders and slipped the ball past Gospodinov for 1:0. Immediately after the goal for Ludogorets, Petar Stanic had the chance to double his team's lead but shot wide of the goal.

The players of Aleksandar Tunchev responded with a direct free kick for a foul on Stanislav Ivanov, but Dimitar Velkovski sent the ball over the home team's goal. In the 30th minute, the visitors were left a man down on the pitch after Georgi Nikolov acted recklessly and was sent off. The striker was held by Hossam Abdelmagid, then deliberately struck him on the shoulder with his hand. The home player fell to the ground, and the head referee showed Nikolov a straight red card.

A minute before the end of regular time in the first half, Bernard Tekpetey tilted the scales entirely in favor of the hosts, scoring for 2:0. The "Eagles" captain netted a powerful left-footed shot, which bounced off the crossbar and then crossed the goal line. Rwan Cruz provided his second assist of the match.

Deep into added time of the first half, Tekpetey scored his second goal of the match, blasting home from a direct free kick; the ball ricocheted off a defender and ended up in the visitors' net for the third time.

The score in the match swelled to 4:0 after Rwan Cruz found the net following his two assists up to that point. Cruz received the ball in the penalty area from Aguibou Camara, turned excellently, and shot diagonally from the right. The ball deflected off Viktor Lyubenov’s foot and became impossible for Gospodinov to save.

The final result was shaped by Ivan Zhelyzko in the 86th minute, when the Ukrainian midfielder scored after a brilliant one-two combination with Amir Hadjiahmetovic. This was the Ukrainian’s first goal in his official debut in the green jersey. Amir Hadjiahmetovic did the same, showcasing excellent plays and participating in Zhelyzko’s goal.
