Goalscorers for Thomas Reis' team were Ivaylo Chochev and Aguibou Camara, while towards the end Gerard Francchetti scored for the capital side.
Ludogorets had the upper hand throughout the entire match and missed out on a much more convincing victory. Chochev, Caio Vidal, and Rwan Cruz had good chances before the break, but the visitors' goalkeeper had a great day.
A goal by Son in the first half was disallowed after a VAR review, which detected a handball by Chochev.
