Ludogorets thrashed Romanian second-division side SCM Rаmnicu Vâlcea 3:0 in a friendly match played at the "Huvepharma Arena" in Razgrad. The win could have been even bigger, but twice the post stopped the "Eagles".
The match was an unofficial, but nonetheless repeated debut for coach Igor Jovicevic. Four of Ludogorets' latest signings — Ivo Grbiц, Ivan Zhelizko, Amir Hadžiahmetoviц, and Omar Rekik — made their debuts for the 14-time champions, all starting the match.
Next Sunday (October 4th), the 14-time Bulgarian champion will face Cherno More in a new friendly match. Erick Marcus opened the score in the 25th minute, and shortly before halftime, Rwan Cruz (43') doubled the lead.
Towards the end of the match, Caio Vidal (85') sealed the final result. The victory could have been even more decisive if Rwan hadn't missed a penalty in the first half.
