Ludogorets loaned Spanish defender Gonzalo Avila Gordon Pipa to English West Bromwich Albion. The two clubs finalized negotiations on the deal on Friday with the defender joining his new team and set to make his official debut soon. In the Championship team, Pipa will play under Spanish coach Carlos Corberan, with whom he worked at Huddersfield and Olympiacos.
Pipa was attracted to Ludogorets in February 2023 by Olympiacos. During the spring part of the previous championship, the right back played 20 matches in all tournaments, becoming the champion and winner of the Bulgarian Cup at the end of the season.
