Ludogorets signed with a Brazilian winger

Ludogorets signed with the midfielder Rai Nascimento de Oliveira, who last played in the elite Brazilian club Bahia. The winger passed his medical and fitness tests today before signing his contract. The Brazilian, who also holds a Spanish passport, has started training with Ludogorets immediately and will be officially unveiled as a player for the 11-time champions on Thursday.

At the age of 13, Rai went to Spain, where he was recruited into Zaragoza's football academy. Subsequently, the midfielder reached the first team of the club from the region of Aragon, where he played for two seasons. He was part of two other Spanish teams - Ibiza and Deportivo La Coruña. In 2021, he was sold to Brazilian Bahia, where Cicinho and Cauly Oliveira currently play. With the El Salvador club team from October to December 2021, Rai has 15 appearances, scoring 3 goals and registering 2 assists. For 2022, the midfielder has played 38 matches for Bahia with 5 goals and 2 assists.

Rai Nascimento de Oliveira is Ludogorets' fourth new player this winter after the transfers of Dinis Almeida, Franco Russo and Gonzalo Avila Pipa.
