PFC Ludogorets has signed Bosnian international Amir Hadziahmetovic. The 29-year-old midfielder joins the champions after a strong period in English football, where last season he played for Hull City. The midfielder passed his medical examinations and fitness tests successfully and, in the meantime, agreed on terms with the 14-time champions.
Hadziahmetovic is a footballer with extensive international experience and an impressive CV. The Denmark-born midfielder was part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s squad at the 2026 World Cup, where he played in the match against Switzerland. With his performances in recent years, he has solidified his reputation as one of the highest quality midfielders in his country.
In the 2025/26 season, Amir Hadziahmetovic was on loan at Hull City, making 39 appearances. It was with the English club that he was among the key figures in the squad, which achieved its historic goal and won promotion to the Premier League.
Before moving to Hull, Hadziahmetovic wore the shirt of Turkish giants Besiktas, where between 2023 and 2026 he recorded 60 matches. In the 2024/25 season, the midfielder played on loan at Rizespor.
His career began in Bosnia and Herzegovina with Zeljeznicar (Sarajevo), after which he spent a full seven seasons at Konyaspor. For the Turkish club, Hadziahmetovic tallied an impressive 199 appearances and 17 goals, becoming an important figure in the midfield.
With Besiktas, Hadziahmetovic won the Turkish Cup twice and the Turkish Super Cup twice.
At an international level, Ludogorets’ new signing has 37 matches for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.

He is the sixth new player for the 14-time champions this season, following the transfers of Mikhail Polendakov, Nathan Fernandez, Hossam Abdelmagid, Ivo Grbic, and Ivan Zhelizko.
