Ludogorets closed the 2021/22 season with style. The champions defeated 1:0 Levski at Gerena stadium. This was the third win against Levski in this season of efbet League. The Eagles now have 21 points in advance of the second team in the rating, CSKA-Sofia. The only goal was scored by Cicinho after the ball ricocheted into the body of Levski's defender.

The match was very attractive and there were numerous goals situations in front of both gates. Ludogorets not only became Bulgaria’s champion for the 11th consecutive time but also defeated the Bulgaria Cup winner at their home stadium in the last match of the season.

Ludogorets has another reason to be proud. Pieros Sotiriou became the top scorer of the elite championship with a total of 17 goals scored.
