The Head Coach of Ludogorets U19 Yuri Vasev spoke for the club’s TV channel before the first match of the UEFA Youth League against Zeljeznicar (Sarajevo) at “Eagles’ Nest” stadium in Razgrad on 27th of September.
“These matches always have a special type of mood. We are waiting for them a whole year. The boys are excited and ready, they have the desire to play. This is a tournament game and we have to play smart and apply tactics and discipline in order to achieve success in the first match. The games with direct elimination, such as this one, are specific and are very different from the Youth League last year when the participants were separated into groups. The competitor is a team from the former Yugoslavian time and are champions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The have an aggressive and skillful manner. We have no doubt that this will be a hard game and will be a matter of tactical game plan”, said Vasev.
