The Fifth Medical Conference of Ludogorets brought together leading specialists

On April 25, 2026, at the Huvepharma Arena stadium, the Fifth Sports Medicine Conference was held, organized by PFC Ludogorets 1945. The official opening was attended by the mayor of Razgrad, Dobrin Dobrev, who welcomed the participants. Among the official guests were representatives of the club’s management – Angel Petrichiev, Georgi Karamandzhukov, and Temenuga Gazdova.

In his welcome address, Angel Petrichiev emphasized the key role of medical teams in modern football, as well as the importance of the conference as a platform for exchanging knowledge, innovation, and professional contacts. The rich program featured a number of current and innovative topics of international relevance.

Among the highlights were “Geriatric Sport,” presented by Elisaveta Shiderska – a licensed coach at Madrid Municipality, Spain; “Genetics and Women’s Sport” with lecturer Dr. Olga Antonova from the company Re:gena; “Sports Heart and Health in Amateur Athletes,” presented by Dr. Daniela Krasimirova; “Mesenchymal Cell Treatment in Orthopedics” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Konstantin Ganchev from St. Marina Hospital – Varna; as well as “Ultrasound-Guided Loco-Regional Analgesia in Acute, Subacute and Chronic Pain Syndromes,” presented by Dr. Dancho Danailov and the ICU team at the Multidisciplinary Hospital for Active Treatment – Silistra. Companies HEEL and Zepter International contributed to the high level of the forum as partners of the event.

Ludogorets will continue developing its scientific activities, and in October the club will host a prestigious international conference dedicated to the design, construction, and maintenance of next-generation sports pitches.
