Two experienced Swedish coaches have joined the staff of Ludogorets’ new head coach, Per-Mathias Hogmo. These are Mikael Stahre and Kristoffer Augustsson. The first has a long career as a head coach. Over the past 18 years, he has led 12 different teams across Scandinavia, Europe, and Asia, including AIK (Solna), Greek side Panionios, IFK Goteborg, Chinese club Dalian, and Hacken. Until last week, Stahre was the head coach of Norwegian top-flight club Stabak. He will serve as Hogmo’s first assistant.
Kristoffer Augustsson also has an impressive CV. Between 2023 and 2025, he worked at Mjallby, with which he recently became champion of Sweden. From 2017 to 2023, Augustsson was head coach of various Swedish youth national teams, and before that, he was part of another local giant—Djurgarden.
In the coming days, another experienced fitness coach is expected to join Hogmo’s staff, with negotiations currently underway.
