Ludogorets qualified for the second qualifying round of The Champions League after eliminating Belarusian champions Dinamo Minsk with a 2:2 draw after extra time.
As is known, the “Eagles” won the first match in Razgrad 1:0, and in the second leg, played in Hungary, they took the lead 1:0 with a beautiful goal by Erick Marcus in the 41st minute.
In the second half, the symbolic home side pushed forward and completed a comeback with goals from Mustafa Jime in the 54th minute and Pedro Igor in the 62nd. That made it 2:1 in regular time, sending the match into extra time. The hero for Ludogorets was Erick Bile, who capitalized on a mistake by Dinamo Minsk’s goalkeeper and calmly made it 2:2.
In the second qualifying round of The Champions League, Ludogorets will face Rijeka, with the first leg taking place on Tuesday in Croatia.
