Ludogorets midfielder Ivaylo Chochev was named "Footballer of the Footballers" for the 2024/2025 season in a poll conducted by the Association of Bulgarian Footballers (ABF).
This one-of-a-kind poll in Bulgaria was held for the 24th consecutive year and included votes from all players in the efbet League and the Second League — both Bulgarian and foreign.
The poll consists of three main categories: Footballer of the Footballers, Best Young Player, and Best Coach.
Ivaylo Chochev was the undisputed number 1 in the "Footballer of the Footballers" category. The 32-year-old national team player established himself as the most utilized player for Ludogorets during the season, appearing in 46 out of the champions' 53 matches across all competitions.
Runners-up to Chochev in the poll were Marin Petkov from Levski and the captain of Botev Plovdiv, Ivelin Popov.
For Best Coach of the season, the players voted for Ludogorets manager Igor Jovicevic. His runners-up were Aleksandar Tunchev (Arda) and Ilian Iliev (Cherno More).
