Ludogorets missed Septemvri

Ludogorets failed to beat Septemvri – 0:0. As a result, the gap between the first-placed and second-placed teams, Levski, remains 8 points.

"The Eagles" could have opened the scoring in the 6th minute. At that point, Anton Nedyalkov crossed from the left, and Erick Bile headed the ball, but it hit the crossbar. A very clear chance followed for the hosts. Jakub Piotrowski passed on the ground from the right to Agiubou Camara, who shot very powerfully, but Dimitar Sheytanov made a brilliant save.

In the 19th minute, Jakub Piotrowski tried his luck with a free kick, but shot over the goal. The hosts continued to press, and in the 34th minute, Aguibou Camara fired a shot, but once again Sheytanov was in the right place. A curious moment came 5 minutes later when Erick Marcus attempted to surprise Sheytanov directly from a corner kick, but the goalkeeper handled it well.

In the final minute of the first half, Erick Bile could have scored during a serious scramble, but was stopped. At halftime, the capital team were without their captain Asen Chandarov, who had suffered a shoulder injury shortly before.

In the 52nd minute, Ludogorets missed their clearest chance. Caio Vidal set up Erick Bile one-on-one with the goalkeeper; he shot powerfully, but Sheytanov once again made the save. The barrage of shots continued, with Naressi also trying his luck, but once again being thwarted by the visiting goalkeeper.

After an hour of play, Sheytanov denied Aguibou Camara with another save. Due to the lack of success in attack, the home coach Igor Jovicevic made a double substitution, bringing on the new signing Antoine Baroan and Ivaylo Chochev. 

Ludogorets scored a goal in the 73rd minute through Caio Vidal, but it was ruled out for offside. In the resulting counterattack, Septemvri created the first danger, as Polenadkov delivered a great pass to Rupanov, who was saved by Hendrik Bonmann. Three minutes later, Baroan could have scored his first goal for the Razgrad team, but his surprising shot missed the target.

Until the end, Ludogorets made some spontaneous pressure, but it led to nothing significant in front of Dimitar Sheitanov's goal.
