Ludogorets head coach Ante Shimundza spoke before the Super Cup match against Levski.
"The matches with Levski are always derbies, they always have a special charge, very intense, with a lot of energy. I expect a different team of Levski compared to the last match we played for the championship. They changed some players, but mainly they kept their style of play and try to play their match. We have done a detailed analysis," Shimunja began.
"I said it's a privilege to play everyone every three days. We treat every opponent with great seriousness and respect. We want to be successful in all competitions. I expect us to play with high energy because it's a derby after all. These games show the best of the players. I expect a big crowd and that's the way we want to play at the highest level. Along with the rotations we keep the energy of all the players. Everyone is on the line except for Dominik Yankov and Claude Gonsalves," he added.
"We expect them to play with three in defense. The Cup is a special tournament. I told you before the reasons for reaching these results in the two matches for the Bulgarian Cup, but that is now in the past. We want to make progress with each match and I hope we will be successful in the future. The Super Cup is just one game. And it's during the season, but it's a very serious game. It's not just about concentration or how we take this game - it's a derby and that's absolutely enough," the experienced specialist concluded.
