Ludogorets introduced the new coach

Ludogorets introduced Valdas Dambrauskas as the club’s new head coach.

Ludogorets introduced Valdas Dambrauskas as the club’s new head coach. The Sports Administration director personally gave him the new club shirt and scarf and wished him success.

Hello, I am happy to be here.. Happy New Year to everyone. I am proud to be here alongside my assistants. Zdravkov, Genchev, and Skinderis will be part of my coach team. Leko and Ferreira will take care of the physical training and video analysis. Velikov will be our medic, Dambrauskas said.

Ludogorets always sets high goals and we want to continue striving for the top in Bulgaria and Europe. We want to be proactive and we will work on that with the players in Turkey“, the specialist said.

"You are always under pressure if you join a big club and you have big dreams. I don’t like fear and we need to enjoy football. We start training on Monday“, the Lithuanian added.

I have followed the club’s development for years. I have played against the team as the head coach of Zalgiris and I have seen Ludogorets play enough to know the strengths and weaknesses“, said the coach.

I know the local championship is strong and there is a lot of competition. I am familiar with CSKA as well. There are many people working at Ludogorets and we have a great scout division. We need to attract players who will add to our qualities“, the coach concluded.
