Sports director of Ludogorets Georgi Karamandzukov welcomed the new player Rai.

"We wanted him since last year. Then the club where he played asked for too high transfer fee. Now fate has helped us and he comes as a free agent. I thank his managers for maintaining confidentiality while we conducted the conversations. Thanks to Rai for choosing Ludogorets. I wish him to be a part of Ludogorets' great matches in Europe," said Karamandzhukov.

"There is plenty of time until February 28th. Selection is open. If a person is dropped who can raise the class, the coaching staff liked him, and the financial parameters correspond to our capabilities, there may be other transfers," said the boss at the Razgrad club.

Karamandzhukov admitted that Ludogorets is still in talks with Partizani Tirana for the signing of midfielder Arinaldo Rapai. The Albanian media wrote the other day that he is coming to Razgrad on loan, but so far there is nothing official. "There are talks with Partiznani, but nothing final. When something is finalised, we will announce it properly as we have always done," he added.
