The elite defender Aslak Fonn Witry and the management of Ludogorets finalized the player’s transfer. The player comes from the Dutch elite club Alkmaar and has already covered all medical and fitness requirements. Witry will be available for the next major matches.

“I joined one of the best clubs in the Balkans. I want to play in Europe and I will have this chance here. I believe I’ll help the team achieve every goal”, Witry said.

The defender was born on March 10, 1996, in Trondheim. After his youth years in Strindheim, he joined Rosenborg and Ranheim. Eventually, he joined one of the most popular Swedish clubs – Djurgardens. He has played in 65 matches between 2019 and 2012 and has scored ten goals in total. As part of his former club Alkmaar, he scored one goal in 31 matches.

Fonn Witry is the second new player to join Ludogorets this season after Jakob Piotrowski.
