Ludogorets introduced the newest addition to the team – the Croatian goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina. He comes from Gorica, the former club of the current coach of the champion club – Valdas Dambrauskas.
“I understand the scale of the club I just joined. Ludogorets is the biggest one in Bulgaria. I have worked with Dambrauskas for nine months and we get along well. I am ready to become a resident player and this is why I accepted this challenge”, the player said.
“It is important for me that Dambrauskas invited me. I know his methods but I don’t know the players. I am here because of his invitation. I would not have accepted any other invitation”.
“I have friends who play in Bulgaria and I have watched some matches because of them. I saw some more when I was invited. I did not see Lokomotiv or CSKA play because of my work in Gorica. I am currently trying to follow Ter Stegen’s footsteps but I used to follow Buffon’s style before. The German’s style suits me better”, Kahlina added.
