Ludogorets II defeated Spartak Varna with a 4:0 score in the last trial game before the start of the Second Professional League championship. The game took place at one of the fields of the ‘Eagles’ Nest’ base. Radi Zdravkov included Sanchez and Castro in the team composition. The two young Spanish players came to Ludogorets for a test period, and so is Vasilen Markov, who came back from Botev (Plovdiv).

Ludogorets scored the first goal in the 33rd minute when Mitkov received a good low pass from the center. Five minutes later Yankov added a second goal after a series of passes.

Dimitrov scored the third goal in the second half after he blocked the keeper’s attempt to kick the ball towards the center. The ball made a ricochet and went straight inside the gate. The team from Varna scored an own goal in the 68th minute.

‘We had a lot to show in the first half. Everything the players did on the field was good and they gave their best. We lowered the pace during the second half because of our competitor, but we are happy with our performance. We haven’t decided yet about the two Spanish players, but they will probably not stay with the team’, said the assistant coach Galin Ivanov.

Ludogorets II team composition in the game against Spartak Varna: Naumov, Slavov, Markov, Dimitrov, Iliev, Dost, Yankov, Castro, Yordanov, Mitkov, Sanchez (Valchev, Petrov, Yusufov, Milkov, Dimitrov, Hyuseinov, Metodiev, Valchev, Kanchev).
