Ludogorets got off to a strong start to their summer campaign, beating Slovenian elite side Primorie 5-0. A strong match was recorded by Todor Nedelev, who took his favorite number 8, vacated by Claude Gonsalves. Nedelev gave 2 assists for the first 2 goals – to Delev and Rick. The talents Filip Gigov and Elisey Surov, who is Russian, as well as the new goalkeeper - the German Hendrik Bonmann, made their debut for the Ludogorets men's team.

Already in the 7th minute, Nedelev passed to Spas Delev. He controlled the penalty area, dealt with an opponent, and scored. In the 12th minute, the Eagles scored a second goal. Rick Jhonathan received a nice pass in the penalty area and with a precise shot into the far left corner he left no chance for goalkeeper Tony Machan. Nedelev assisted again. Seven minutes after that, the new signing of Razgrad Hendrik Bonmann saved a shot from Elvin Suljanovic. In the 38th minute, Ludogorets was given the right to execute a penalty after a handball by a player of Primorie. Olivier Verdon executed, the goalkeeper saved, but the ball returned to the path of the Ludogorets defender and he scored.

Four minutes later, Aslack von Witry scored the fourth goal after a nice attack by the Bulgarian champion. At the very end of regular time, substitute Caio Vidal also got on the scoresheet, teeing up the Slovenian goalkeeper to make it 5-0 and shape the final score in Austria.
